full term

today marks a huge milestone for pistoy... as of this day, he is already 37 weeks and 1 day, meaning he is at full term na!

yesterday was thanksgiving thursday, and my in-laws were all kinda shocked at how fast my tummy "dropped". the lightening didn't happen in a day, but even mr.co-creator noticed it, and we see each other everyday pa ng lagay na yon. siguro within the last week, noticeable talaga yung pagbaba ng tummy ko. parang may slope na from my point of view, and may parang pouch na sa ilalim, sa puson. ganon pala yon! =)

i look like i am gonna pop any day soon. pero lagi kong kinakausap si pistoy, wag muna! at least, until dec1 man lang. dahil dec1 pa ang dating nila mama dito sa FL. hehe! sana makita pa nila yung baby bump ko. hehe!

the days seem to be dragging by and yet it seems to fly by. andaming gagawin, andami naming nache-check sa to-do list, but it just never ends. =P ang hirap matulog. actually, mahirap pumuwesto. i find it easier to lie on my left side. minsan nga lang nakakangalay din. and i am getting, on average, 6 hrs sleep a day. last night, i slept for 5 hours lang, at ngayon, inaantok ako.  i might take a nap for an hour later. minsan i find it more comfy to sleep sa sofa kesa sa kama, dahil may sandalan ang sofa and it supports my back.

there are times din na parang ang hirap lumakad dahil nakadagan si pistoy sa pantog ko. hehe! but it's all good, ibig sabihin naka-head down pa rin sya, which is the best scenario for now. =)

i'm just happy that he reached full term. lagi pa rin syang sinisinok, i hope that's a good sign na he is practicing his breathing a lot. pistoy, while you're at it, practice ka na rin mag-suck para sa breastfeeding. =)

pistoy mobile

we finally bought the minivan for pistoy. =) yep, we are making a big jump from my 2-door sports car, to a 5-door 8-seater minivan. we skipped the 4-door 5-seater sedan stage. hehe! yeah, call me a soccer mom all you want, but imma lovin' the roominess of the minivan. hehe!

we got the 2011 Toyota Sienna LE last monday morning. we didn't get one with all the bells and whistles, just the options that come standard with the v6 model. all in all, i think we got a good deal. the basic model (CE, Sienna) by itself is a good minivan already. the LE is the next trim, so a few of the optional features in CE are standard with the LE. basically, we were after the power sliding doors. hehe! LE is the lowest trim that has that option, so we went for it!

here's a stock photo of the Sienna LE, aka "Pistoy Mobile", aka "PiMo", according to hubby je. parang bastos pakinggan, but he claims green-minded lang daw kasi ako. =P i will take pics when we have the car seat installed na. mr.co-creator will be doing that on Thanksgiving Thursday morning. (i'm sticking to a schedule, gigisingin ko talaga sya sa umaga to do it.)

the salesperson we dealt with is very accommodating. the accountant (or whatever they call him) was also very accommodating. i was pre-approved for a 48-month 2.99% interest on a car loan from my bank, but he was able to get me a 60-month 2.54% interest with their partner bank. awesome! =)

they threw in the carpet mats and window tints for free. je is on the lookout for rubber mats. it might be useful lalo na pag may spills, kasi pwedeng hugasan ang rubber mats, but carpet mats are harder to clean.

sa ngayon, i can comfortably go in and out of the car without having to strain myself (+). at ang sarap ng feeling na hindi ka natatakot na baka biglang umusok ang radiator mo while driving. hehe! (++) the new car smell is very nice too! and now i won't have to worry about how to transport pistoy when mama and papa are here. plus the strollers, bags and what not. i think skipping the sedan is one of the wisest decisions we made.

btw, that monday night, je demolished our front yard fence and took out the 3 hedges sa  front lawn, just so we could drive-in sa lawn to park the van. grabe, parang hihimatayin na ang itsura nya when i got home.*lol* later that night, he said everytime he feels like collapsing, iniisip na lang nya, "para kay pistoy 'to", "para sa kotse ni pistoy 'to". hehe!

daddy's learning

we got a package from the mail today! it was from Similac. i dunno if i signed up for it for the freebies, but it was addressed to "Beng Ignacio", so maybe i did sign up with my usual dummy account. hehe!

when i opened the box,may pamphlet about feeding. it also comes with 2 sample tin cans of formula.

je was watching me take out those cans when he said something like "bawal yan!". *lol*

he's been taking notes base sa mga comments ng mga friends ko, and he knows na off-limits ang formula para ma-encourage ako lalo na mag-breastfeed.

so ayun, after kong buksan, napunta na sa tambak ang mga free formulas na natatanggap namin. good job, mr. co-creator! =P

head-down at last!

we went to the doc last wednesday and saw pistoy again!

and! naka-head-down position na sya! good job pistoy! good boy! =D

he was moving around a lot when we were having the sonogram. as in sipa sya nang sipa, ang kulet! hehe! the technician (jeanice) is much more knowledgable than the last one last week. she was able to show us a lot of pistoy's body parts, organs, and even estimated his weight. he's estimated at 7 lbs and 9 ounces as of week 36! he weighs 1 week ahead of the normal weight bracket! nyaaaaks!

we saw his heart beating. sinisinok din sya nung simula, kaya di makuha yung heart rate nya. hehe! eventually, tumigil din yung sinok, at nakuha yung heart rate nya, which is normal naman daw. pero he's not practicing breathing. so we waited a bit more. there were moments of fear during those minutes na hindi sya humihinga, but jeanice is reassuring us na minsan talaga hindi sila nagpa-practice. then when he started breathing, we saw his lungs expanding and collapsing/contracting, it's amazing! =)

jeanice also took pics of pistoy's profile. ang tangos ata ng ilong, or yung orientation lang ba yon? tapos may pic din ng balls at patutuy nya ("looks like a turtle", according to jeanice).

we'll post pics soon! good news is that hindi na sya transverse lie. at yung amniotic fluid ko daw is within normal range na rin. last week masyado pa daw marami. sana hindi na mag-acrobatic si pistoy. anak, please stay head-down ok? =) please stay head-down and wait for lola ayet and lolo norbie. wag ka munang lumabas dahil wala pa ang minivan mo. =P

speaking of minivan, nag-apply na kami ng car loan and i'm already approved for a 4.38% rate. still waiting on another bank na in-apply-an namin, baka kasi mas mababa ang rate, eh di we'll go with that one. we might get the van this weekend, or next. depende kung aabot sa mail yung loan check.27 days to go, shocks i need to call some pediatricians! kalurkey, ang bilis ng panahon.

slowpoke

this blog entry doesn't concern pistoy, but definitely falls within the "pregnancy bitching" category.

lately, i've become an anti-social at the parking lot and at the office lobby.

parking lot
people have this thing about waiting for you to emerge from the parking lot so they can hold the building door open for you. nice of them, right? chivalry's not dead.

but. it puts some pressure on me to walk faster, so they won't have to wait longer holding the door open for me! and at that time in the morning, walking fast to get to work is not really my thing, pregnant or not. especially now that i take my time walking dahil i run out of breath easily.

to avoid being the parking lot detour, or at least lessen the chances of me looking like one, when i see someone ahead of me, i intentionally walk slower to keep a good distance between them and me. or, when i sense that they will still hold the door for me for as long as i take to get there, i take out my phone and start pressing buttons (call mama, or delete messages, or check vmails) to avoid establishing eye contact with them (which leads to the "i'll-wait-for-you-nod").

office lobby snob
by now you know how this is. people who are at the lobby, waiting for the elevator.

i've always been a "stairs person", especially since i'm only on the 2nd floor. i took the stairs (going up and down) well until my 7th month. ok, a little beyond 7th month. but towards the middle of my 3rd trimester, i started taking the elevator.

even if i manage to "escape" being a parking lot snob, sometimes the elevators take forever to come down to the 1st floor, and i "catch up" with the folks who were ahead of me. there are times when i "almost catch up", and that's when the problem arises.

after taking my sweet time, people will still hold the elevator door open for me, even if i just stepped into the lobby, with a good few yards between me and the sliding door. they will all be eagerly listening to my footsteps, holding the door open, sometimes with 1 or 2 heads peeking out to check if i am going.

i don't want the extra pressure to walk faster! =P and then there's that awkward first few seconds when i take my place in the crowded shaft. i try to throw small talk by making fun of the situation "sorry guys, that's the fastest i can walk", or "feel free to drop my name when you run late in a meeting". and then there's the inevitable "when are you due?" question, and their eyes popping out of their sockets when i tell them i still have a month to go. =P

it's not like i'm becoming an anti-social. it's just that i don't want to be causing anybody delays, or causing my heart a faster rate.

oh, and i get that "are you alright?" concerned-look/question when they see me walking slowly. c'mon, they don't expect me to be bouncing around the halls with the extra 38 lbs!

the belly bump cast experience

last night, we did the belly bump cast thingy. it wasn't what we expected it to be. =P
unang-una, nagset-up pa kami ng tripod pang-pictorial, but we only ended up with 1 pic. you'll find out why....

preps:
  • ginupit namin yung 4 rolls ng casting strips into different sizes: mahaba, regular, maliliit.
  • nag-init si je ng tubig para warm water ang gagamitin namin.
  • je placed a chair sa gitna ng entertainment area, and covered it with the plastic thingy that comes with the kit.

instructions:
  • first, dapat lagyan ng lubricant yung area ng katawan ko na ica-cast.
  • the "caster" should put on the gloves para protektahan yung kamay nya.
  • dip the casting strip sa warm water, tapal sa katawan, smooth out with the finger.
  • repeat as necessary to cover the area to be casted.
  • add 3-4 layers to make sure the cast will be enforced enough.
  • after a few minutes, gently pull off the cast.

sounds simple enough right?

what actually happened:
  • je dipped the first casting strip sa warm water, tapal sa taas ng left boob ko and smoothed out with his finger.
what's wrong with that picture?

well, nakalimutan naming lagyan ng lubricant yung katawan ko. *lol* so tinanggal nya agad yung strip na yon before it hardens and who knows kung gaano kadikit yon sa balat pag natuyo! we're kinda off to a rocky start. hehehe!
  • take two, lubricated yung buong area ng ica-cast. ang bango nung lubricant thingy. at marami naman sya, so di kami kinapos.
  • repeat the dip-tapal-smooth out part, and this time, tama na.
  • we were able to take a pic after je covered my chest area with 2 layers ata yon.
  • a few minutes into the project, i can feel na tumitigas na yung cast, so i told je to hurry up.
  • je forgot to use the gloves, so his hands were kinda messy na after casting my chest area.
  • since i shouldn't move, je was doing the dip-tapal-smooth steps, and cutting the strips into smaller pieces when needed, and making sure i am still comfy. because he's doing everything, hindi na nya nakuhang mag-take ng pics. also, since ang dumi ng kamay nya, hindi nya mahahawakan yung cam without ruining it!
  • as soon as ma-cast na yung buong belly ko, i started to feel itchy sa pusod! then it was creeping down my puson. oh. my. gawd! ang katiiiii!!!!
  • i tried to focus my attention to something, anything, to take my mind off the itchiness, but it's not working! i try to think of labor pains, which will make this ordeal a whole lot like a walk in the park. but it still is not working! itchiness is different from pain, i guess. i have a higher tolerance level sa pain kesa sa kati? probably.
  • after a few more minutes, i can feel the cast sliding off of me! oh no! as in parang wala nang nakadikit sa balat ko. whatever is holding it in place is slipping away. i told je to hurry up for the nth time!
  • when finally, di ko na matiis yung kati, and i know for sure na matatanggal na yung cast, je puts me out of misery and pulled off the cast from my body. takbo na ko sa shower and was in agony for the next 5 minutes dahil sa kati.

since may korte naman na ng katawan ko, je worked on reinforcing the cast on his own. he worked on it for a good half an hour to 1 hour ata. the finished product was cool!

as for my pusod at puson, i won't be surprised kung may stretch marks ako don ngayon. mega-kamot talaga ako habang nasa shower! it must be the lubricant, or the casting strips, or the heat from being not "breathable", or a combination of all plus the pregnancy hormones. =P

it was fun, but i don't know if i wanna do it again. maybe if i am using my own lubricant. or siguro pwedeng lagyan na agad ako ng caladryl para kung sakaling kakati ulet. one thing we learned is mabilis siyang matuyo, kaya it would be better kung ready na lahat before you start. maybe it is much, much better kung may assistant yung gumagawa.

we're still thinking of a good design for the cast. we will probably smooth it out, paint it light blue, and do a dark blue hand-and-foot prints kung saan yung orientation nya ngayon. we gotta ask the nurse kung kelan safe gumamit si pistoy ng body paint. siguro pwedeng gamitin yung ginagamit nila sa hospital. hehe!

it was weird seeing my "figure" sort of have a life of its own. iba kasi yung nasa salamin or pics eh. the cast is a pretty darn good idea! =)

chubby cheek pigwet

we were at a doc's appointment earlier this morning.

supposedly, it's just a routine check-up. i gained more or less a couple of lbs, my fundal measurement is as expected (35 cm at 35 weeks), but when the doctor tried to listen to pistoy's heartbeat, she had a hard time, parang ang hina daw. galaw din nang galaw si pistoy that time, kaya nahihirapan syang habulin yung heartbeat. so she suggested that we do the sonogram today instead of waiting next week, to find out what's going on.

it turns out, pistoy is in a transverse lie, meaning, he's not head-first, not feet-first, not butt-first in position. he's sideways. =P his head is on my right side, facing my back, and his butt on my left. so those "kicks" were actually "punches" pala!

i got worried since i'm on my 35th week na, and pistoy is probably running out of space to turn. if he stays in that position until i get contractions, i might get a c-section. i could hope for last minute turns (i read that some babies turn in the last few hours before they're born), but i shouldn't keep my hopes up.

i am kind of resigned to the fact that i might get a c-section nga, even before we found out he's in transverse position today. dati, dahil sa weight gain ko. and ngayon (and more probably) because of this, pistoy's position. may ilang weeks pa (hopefully) para pakiusapan itong anak naming umikot.

on the upside of things, nakita na ulet namin si pistoy! the last time was nung july 15 pa, when his gender was determined.

ang laki-laki na nya ngayon, di na sya kasya sa monitor. hehe! part by part na namin sya nakikita. the technician took a few snapshots. yung isa is nakaharap sya, kaya isang part lang ng mukha nya ang kita. parang ang tambok ng pisngi! *lol* mana ata kay je! hahaha! either it was just the orientation, or parang siopao yung pisngi nya talaga. hehe!

then she took measurements ng ulo nya. we also saw his heart and the 4 chambers beating really good. we saw his thigh, his knees, his legs and feet. the technician also traced his back and we saw his spine. ang galing, parang railroad track. hehe! we saw his hand, with all the tiny fingers. nung una parang naka-pilantik ang pinkie finger nya, then he closed it into a fist. we also saw his balls and patutuy! yep, definitely a boy! =)

i am trying not to worry about pistoy's position right now. i believe na good boy sya and he will listen to his mom and dad. =) pistoy, ikot na, and once you're head-down, stay there, ok? =)

we're going back next week for another ultrasound. so we will see pistoy again! woohooo!

hospital tour and kangaroo care

last sunday, mr.co-creator and i went to the hospital tour sa Bayfront Baby Place. the tour started at 3:30pm and ended at 5pm.

sa simula, may cookies and iced tea silang ni-serve. we found it kind of weird. with lots of expecting moms watching their diet, cookies at iced tea pa talaga ang sinerve nila. hehe! hindi naman kami nagrereklamo kasi libre naman sya, pero you would think they would serve fruits and bottled water or juices instead. hehe!

the tour started with the nurse presenting a slide show of the outline of the tour itself, and the services they offer. they offered some pre-baby preps tips too. one thing that made me take a mental note of is the installation of the car seat. it could take as long as 3 hours daw to make sure everything is set right. nyaks! pag kinabit ang car seat, wala nang tanggalan to. hehe!

after that, alay-lakad na. it was a fairly large group, siguro a dozen couples din yon. we visited the (really nice!) birthing suites, the c-section operating area, the post-partum rooms, ante-partum rooms, and the different family/waiting rooms i can't remember anymore. =P we passed by the nursery where a dad is spending time giving kangaroo care to his baby as the mom watches by the window. awww.

speaking of kangaroo care, we were told that if circumstances allow it, we will do kangaroo care with pistoy. basically, ilalapag nila si pistoy sa dibdib ko, skin-to-skin contact, right after nyang lumabas. it helps stabilize the baby's stats daw kasi if he can feel the mom's (or dad's) heartbeat, breathing pattern, and yung mismong warmth ng skin. it's a great bonding experience din, especially the first time the baby looks up at your face as if to say "i'm here!". i think it's kinda nice. =)

if circumstances will allow, meaning walang complications and stuff. they recommend an hour of kangaroo care before the baby gets weighed and measured. in cases na hindi pwede yung mom, pwede rin yung dad ang mag-kanggaroo care. in our case, sana kaming dalawa  ni je. mr.co-creator is already planning on bringing his button down polo para he'll be comfy and wouldn't have to strip off his tees. =)

all in all, it was good we went there. it's not like we will remember everything on The Day itself, but at least we are a bit more familiar with the rooms and what to expect. hindi kami totally clueless. also, na-verify na namin sa reception na natanggap at na-process na nila yung pre-registration forms namin. all set na kami for the hospital trip. =)

on baby clothes and feeding bottles

mr.co-creator was melting last night as he was sorting Pistoy's socks. =P

it's amazing how a little piece of clothing could turn a 5'8", 160-lbs, Army Reserve, grown up man into jello. hehe!

nalabhan na namin lahat ng damit ni pistoy. the ones from patsy, arvs and the "shtuff" he got from the baby shower. parang ang dami, pero when we loaded it, kalahati lang ata ng maximum load ng washer namin. hehe! gaano ba karami ang sobrang dami? medyo may reservations ako na bumili ng maliliit na damit kasi pag malaki si pistoy, hindi nya na masusuot agad.

we can probably live with just a few sets sa simula, then as the need (and pistoy's size) arises, bibili na lang. since my parents will be here, meron kaming mga personal shoppers, or at least househelp while we go shopping. hehe! btw, it's a relief for me knowing this early na i won't have to worry about household stuff after i give birth. =)

back to the topic, we used the Arm and Hammer perfume-and-dye-free liquid detergent, and skipped the softeners. i read there's a brand designed for baby clothes, Dreft or something like that. when i checked the price online, holy guacamole! ang mahal! does it make the clothes poop-or-puke-resistant?! =P if it does, i'll get it. else, sorry pistoy, you'll have to do with the regular brand. hehe!

seriously, sobra naman yon! bakit naman tayong mga pinoy kids, bareta pa nga ang gamit sa mga damit natin pero ok naman tayo. for the most part, hehe. sobrang kakaiba talaga ang culture ng kano pagdating sa babies. they are very baby-centric, at times to the point of being impractical.

anyways, so that's done. i wanted to open the feeding bottle set and start sterilizing it. haha! for real! but then, of course we'll have to do it again when pistoy is here, so i left it alone.

i am wondering though, how many bottles do we actually need for a newborn? i'm thinking of probably trying the starter set first, and see if pistoy is hiyang then saka bumili ng mas marami pag ok. if kinakabag sya don, then buy a different brand.

i have this tendency to over-buy something. panic-buying, that's what they call it. how much is too much? =)

baby shower

wala pa ang mga pics ng aking baby shower, kaya mauuna na muna ang mga pa-thank you ko. hehehe!

to ate che and mom loddy, for organizing the party. i totally have no idea what's going on, all i know is may baby shower and i was asked to fill up a registry so folks could have an idea on what to give pistoy. =P di ko nga alam what time yung party eh, mr.co-creator's tasked to bring me to the venue lang, and that's it. at least alam kong invited ako. hehe!

to those who made it, my other sisters-in-law (viv, beth and in-law-to-be-rachel), ate lorma and her kids em-ey and ghia, to my momma friends here ate mariecel, angge and anna, and to flor who was late dahil sa pansit. i had a good time! =)

to those who didn't make it, but still sent their gifts for Pistoy,
to tita daisy (from canada) for the uber pretty saddle bag,
to ate emy (from california) for the uber nice and comfy boppy pillow, and
to tita menchit (from new york) for the all-needed bottle sterilizer.
now, there's an odd ball thrown at me... tita olive (from-florida-soon-to-be-from-hawaii) sent us boxes of Hawaiian Host choco-covered macadamia nuts (i know!!! forget diet for a day or two, i gotta have 'em!) and packs of Hawaiian brand coffee! i assume those are for the parents-to-be, since Pistoy got a card with a $100 check enclosed! this is Pistoy's first savings for college! hubby je and i are so excited to open an account under Pistoy's name ( i wonder if we really have to give them his name na, wala pa syang Social Security Number eh.) so we can deposit this na. hehe!

grabe, sobrang spoiled talaga! the blessings just come pouring in! and it's fun that these are Pistoy's firsts! maybe i should take pics of the loot, para mai-album din namin in the future. hehe!

i'm kinda sad that i didn't have my family, my close friends and my cousins there. but there will always be moments like this, dahil magkalayo kami. the good thing is, marami pang milestones na darating that we could share with them. and i am so excited na! wow, starting with the baby shower, mukhang malayo pa ang tatahakin natin nito pistoy!

shopping for pistoy

6 weeks to go. parang ang bilis na lang!

with 6 more weekends to go, every weekend counts. kailangang may ma-cross out kami sa to-do or to-buy checklists namin every chance we get. parang nitong mga huling araw, may mga little things pang sumusulpot na di namin naisip dati.

like writing out thank you cards para sa mga nagbibigay ng stuff and gifts. we seriously didn't think na andaming makukuha ni pistoy na gifts! it's so heartwarming. =) i feel like we (mr.co-creator and i) did something really good to the world, for pistoy to be well-loved agad kahit di pa man din sya nakikita. *drama mode*  as i always say, nasa tyan ko pa lang, spoiled na ang batang to. hehe!

anyway, i dunno how long i should wait before i buy the rest of the baby stuff. a part of me wants to get it over with. but there's also a part of me that says "wait for thanksgiving" dahil baka may sale. hehe! i'm being kuripot (and there's nothing wrong with that, hehe!), and being a little more sensible about money. after all, hindi biro ang mga susunod na purchases namin. especially with me missing 3 months' salary (well, ok, 6 weeks at a percentage, and 6 weeks with nothing at all), mas mararamdaman ata namin yung mga susunod na gastos.it's not like status quo lang din ang gastos namin eh, it will definitely spike too. dahil nandito sila mama, and with pistoy's stuff, medical expenses, and other new expenses, it's definitely going to be hard to ignore. hehe!

part of the reason why gusto ko na rin mamili is yung peace of mind na anytime lumabas si pistoy, ready na mga gamit nya. and that's gonna be one less thing on my mind. sa ngayon, not a day passes na hindi ko naiisip kung oorderin ko na ba yung car seat? or yung bassinet? or yung stroller? pano kung out of stock, should i go for the other designs? what if madeliver on time pero may sira at kailangang palitan? i don't ever want to see the day when pistoy is here, and i am stressing out dahil i was a day late sa pag-order sa gamit nya, when i have (as of this writing) 6 weeks to take care of it. actually, longer, dahil the stuff i've looked at were already on my online cart for a month now.

i need to consult with hubby je. meron pa rin kasing nagging feeling sa akin na what if mag-10% sale yung mga items na yon? sayang yung savings. pero ano nga ba, aren't we getting a good enough deal by buying online instead of the local stores? masyado na kong na-spoil ng discounts, and not having to pay retail price, that when i don't get a good discount, feeling ko may loss pa rin ako. hehe!

when's the best time to start, and eventually finish, baby shopping?

grave's disease

i came back from an appointment with my endocrinologist and i was "pre-diagnosed" (pending results of another blood test) with Grave's Disease. hyperthyroidism sya in its most common form. based sa results ng 3 past blood tests ko, malala yung hyperthyroidism ko nung first trimester, and it got better nung second, and nitong third, yung TSH na lang yung mababa, which means umo-ok daw yung situation ko. it's the best scenario we could hope for daw, considering na wala akong treatment na ginawa.

sabi ng endoc, kung maaga akong nagpatingin sa kanya, most likely he will treat yung hyperthyroidism ko nung 1st trimester, kasi yun daw ang pinaka-delikado. i could've miscarried!

but now that i am on my 33rd week, i'm past the risky stage daw. ang pinaka-risk na lang ngayon is magkaron din ng hyperthyroidism si pistoy pagkapanganak. but that will go away after a few months.i asked if nakaka-cause ba ng birth defects ang hyperthyroidism, hindi naman daw.

they drew blood ulet for another lab test. that will be my latest (probably last) "baseline" before i give birth. after ko daw kasi manganak, kailangan i-monitor ulet yung thyroid hormones ko.

with all these thyroid chuva, i'm afraid na baka maging only child si pistoy. will it go away after i give birth? will it worsen? what if mag-worsen, and it will be risky for me to get preggy again? naisip ko lang yung mga tanong na yon nung nagda-drive na ko papuntang work after the appointment. i guess we'll take it one step at a time.

what's important is pistoy is past the dangerous stage. anak, ang galing mo talaga kumapit, bilib ako sayo! =P

tummy ache part 2

i have to relax a bit. i think sobrang naiisip ko yung mga dapat gawin, kaya naa-upset yung sikmura ko.

either that, or sobrang dami ng nakain ko last saturday. 2 party ba naman eh.

sorry kung tmi ito, but i had another tummy ache last sunday dahil nasira ang tyan ko. it's not fun. but at least hindi na ko nagpanic nung sumakit ang tyan ko. i finally learned how to "isolate" yung sakit ng sikmura because of digestive problems. and this time, hindi ako tumawag ng uwak.

today, wala pa kong masyadong kinakain. =( 2 packs ng skyflakes, 1 can ng chicken noodle soup, 1 bottle ng ensure, 1 slice ng tinapay with a little bit of margarine, at 1 bar ng kitkat. =D don't look at me like i'm crazy, but i actually needed the kitkat a while ago. dahil nga kokonti pa lang kinakain ko, i think biglang bumaba ang blood sugar ko. since i can't have soda (or anything citric, cold or unusual bukod sa warm water) dahil natitrigger yung sakit ng tyan ko, i opted to have chocolates instead. i needed a quick fix ng sugar dahil nararamdaman ko na yung malamig na pawis at konting ringing sa tenga ko. kung di ako kumain ng something sweet, i know i will pass out.

pistoy is not very happy about this forced diet. nagugutom na rin sya, galaw sya ng galaw. i will try to eat something safe tonight for dinner. then probably another bottle of ensure just to be sure he's getting some nutrients. right now, i'm eating an apple.

on the brighter side, pistoy is cheering me up by sticking out his legs sa tagiliran ko. distorted yung tyan ko buong araw, dahil ayaw nyang tantanan yung right side ko. hehe! thanks for keeping mommy company, wittew pigwet! =)
