birthday party preps

my mama is officially harassing me to get the ball rolling for pistoy's first bday party. she went as far as asking around for a venue na. =P next on her list, contact jollibee if they cater off-site. a mom-friend told me they do, but my mama, being the oc-oc that she is, wants to know details how to go about it.

she suggested the Fun Ranch at Tiendesitas. *gawd, i don't even know if i spelled that correct* i went online and it looks like a heaven for kids and kids-at-heart! now the big question is... MAGKANO! i sent them a note asking about rates and packages. something tells me that the place alone will cost an arm and a leg. of course, mama will use the "first bday ng first anak mo yan!" argument to make me spend way over my budget. hehehe! speaking of budget, ano nga ba ang budget namin? in the first place, meron ba? *lol*

just sending that email to the venue folks made me feel all giddy inside! =) excited na ko sa party ni pistoy! ano buzzz, 7 months pa lang sya bukas! hehehe!

    you really really have to book na. a venue, a photographer (ay sa kada nyo pala meron diba?) and a magician ang mahihirap. and i'm not talking about clowns uh. super dami ng 'cool' magicians,.. ask my party supplier jacque (partyboosters.multiply.com) about them. december si pistoy ba? talagang dapat na!

    ang budget could go from 25k to as high as YOUR wedding. truly. LOL. so decide na which route you're going haha! super daming gimik sa birthday parties. photobooths, food carts, (you want a starbucks cart, pwede!) entertainment (magicians, ventriloquists, bubble shows, animal shows, face painting, arts and crafts booths, giant bouncers, etc.) tapos yung venue decor pa.. may 'styro' backdrops, tapos super nice balloon decor..

    suggestion ko, keep the program up to 3 hours lang uh! lol! nung birthday ni gavin dati, yung kinuha kong magician, siya na LAHAT. buong program, sya host tapos kasama sa rate nya sound system. facilitate ng games tapos nag magic show sya. sulit din!

    ano theme ni pistoy! syempre dapat meh theme!! lol. exciting!

    theme? jollibee theme dapat eh, pero di pa sumasagot ang Fun Ranch kung pwedeng ipuslit si jabee sa area nila. may sarili kasi silang mascots and menu, so i think yun ang conflict. need to send mama to taste test the food pa pala. oh, and je will pay extra daw to see jabee and the Fun Ranch mascots fight. *lol*

    sobrang dami ngang gimik for a bday party! saw the fun ranch price list! *gulps* iniisip ko nga yung age group ng mga bisita ni pistoy eh. kasi si pistoy mismo, di pa naman nya maiintindihan masyado yung mga nangyayari. hehe!

    as for the program, wala pa namang sinasabi si mama, so i assume wala pang gimik. you know my family, mahilig mag-variety show! *lol* but i'll keep that in mind. ang mga bata kasi ang bilis tumirik pag napagod. hehe!

    saan pa ba magandang venue? in case hindi ako makapang-holdup for the budget? =P

    mga valle verde clubhouses malalaki. dun sa kinasalan ni anna, dati 8k rental, pero you nee =d sponsorship (pero usually yung partyplanner na kukuha nun).. sister ni raymond sa greenmeadows clubhouse kinasal, 15k ang rent. malaki rin. dun sa tektite (Phil stock exchange), 4k per hour dati. (meh stage na). sa mga ganon, i'm 90% sure pwede si jollibee.

    honga janey, sobrang inflated ang prices dito pag parties eh no? buong barangay na mai-invite mo pag sa pinas nag-party si eidan!

    our prob is... magpa-party din si pistoy dito sa US eh. on his actual bday (Dec 9), pero kainan lang siguro with some games(?). sa pinas babawi kasi mas maraming kiddos don. hehe!

    Harbs, oks sa fun ranch and i think they have a whole bunch of list of accredited suppliers na din. kaso un nga ang conflict with regards to jabee. pero i can vouch for the food, kasi we had fun naman when we were invited there. mejo expensive nga lang ung packages nila, minimum ata is 50k.

    thanks for the feedback mare! pupunta ata sila mama don this sunday. bahala na si batman. i better check our finances dahil ang sakit sa bulsa ng mga plane tickets. in a span of 9 months, bibili kami ng 5 roundtrip tickets from Pinas to US. babalik si papa, then uuwi kami, then babalik si mama't papa early next year. good luck naman sa bank account. =P
