dr.brown's to nuby

we started switching pistoy to the regular, no-special-anything chuva Nuby bottles. he was using Dr.Brown's since birth, and we've spent countless hours cleaning those vents. we've had enough! je initiated the "project", probably because he's primarily doing the bottles. hehe!

as of this writing, wala pa namang problema kay pistoy. we're so happy that he didn't mind switching bottles. initially we were worried kasi iba ang nipples nung regular bottle, pero ok lang naman sa kanya. nagiging problem lang is may vacuum. so we're still getting the hang of loosening the collar a bit para air could flow in kahit papano. yung Nuby lang ang walang extra parts. the other brands still have a little extra something to clean. wala na bang regular no-frills bottles ngayon? lahat gusto may vent chuva. they should do something about it, kung gagawin nilang standard yung may vent, i-built-in nila yung parts para walang extra linisan. =P

speaking of design ng bottles, now that we switched to a regular bottle, na-realize namin yung mga features ng Dr.Brown's bottles na taken for granted namin dati. like yung shape ng takip, tumatayo kasi yung sa Dr.Brown's, at madaling tanggalin. yung sa Nuby hindi kasi rounded at walang groves. then yung calibration ng ounces/ml. and yung groves sa collar para mas madaling buksan at di madulas. little things na you don't realize are there pero malaking tulong pala. =)

other than that, wala namang dramatic change. kabagin pa rin si pistoy, which is already a given kahit nung  Dr.Brown's pa ang gamit nya. marunong na syang mag-strain to pass gas, so pag matindi ang kabag nya, kailangan lang ng konting tulong ng manzanilla at mylicon, and he's ok na ulet.

i better knock on wood, i don't want to jinx anything! =P
