10 months!

jecobie turned 10 months today. ang bilis ng panahon!

he's starting to copy stuff na nakikita nya sa amin. and sometimes, he repeats them on cue.

like his fake gigil. hehe! he would shake his head from side to side, with eyebrows slightly raised, and his lips split in a funny grin, when you call out "gigil gigil!".

just this morning, we taught him how to do "kuyakoy". now he makes kuyakoy when we sing the "kuyakoy theme". =P (kuyakoy, kuyakoy, kuyakoy nang kuyakoy!)

he would slam any surface 3 times, when you call out "palo, palo, palo!"

he also waves bye-bye on cue. but only when you are in outdoorsy clothes! pag naka-pambahay lang kami, he won't budge. he would just look at you as if to say "talaga, lalabas kang nakaganyan lang?!' *lol* a couple of weeks ago, he stopped waving bye-bye to us. probably because he noticed that when he waves bye-bye, it takes hours before he sees us again. kaya ngayon, kahit magtatapon lang ng basura si je, nagba-bye-bye sya. para di maassociate ni pistoy to really leaving yung pag-wave. recently nagba-bye-bye na ulet sya. =)

also, for a few days now, tinuturuan namin sya ng open-close sa kamay. hindi nya pa macontrol yung kamay nya. =P kanina habang hinehele ni papa si jecobie, aba, nagpa-praktis ang anak ko! he would "open" his hand, and stare at it. then you can see his face, concentrating, willing his fingers to "close" into a fist. he could do 2 fingers (thumb and index), then he would "open" his hands again, and repeat the process. hehehe! there are times when he would get stuck at "open", and he would shake his hands as if to say he's starting over again. *lol* before he finally went to bed, he managed to ball his hand into a fist, and he won't "open" it again! sa isip-isip nya siguro, baka di ko na magawa ulet ito!

it was funny, it seems like he was reviewing the "tricks" we were teaching him. needless to say, ang "papa jake" ay tuwang tuwa sa apo nya. =)
